Sunday, August 31st, was a day of celebration at LFBC as 14 young people publicly professed their faith in Christ through baptism. The sanctuary was filled with joy and encouragement as families, friends, and church members witnessed these youth take this important step of obedience.

Jesus reminds us in the Gospels how precious children are to Him, saying, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). In the same way, the baptisms served as a beautiful reminder that God is at work in the hearts of the next generation.

Youth Pastor David Workman, Jr. shared his excitement for what God is doing among the youth:
“It is such a blessing to my heart to see people come to know Christ as their Savior! It also brings me so much joy to see these children coming to know Christ at such an early age! I am honored to be a part of what God is doing at LFBC!”

As a church, LFBC celebrates these decisions of faith and remains committed to walking alongside these youth and their families as they continue to grow in their relationship with Christ.
