At Leonards Fork Baptist Church, our beliefs are firmly rooted in the truth of God’s Word. We joyfully affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, the official doctrinal statement of the Southern Baptist Convention. This statement guides our teaching, shapes our ministry, and reflects our desire to live faithfully for Christ.
We believe:
The Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word—our foundation for faith and life.
There is one true and living God, who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became fully man, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will one day return in power and glory.
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, grow in faith, serve others, and share the Gospel with the world.
We practice believer’s baptism by immersion and observe the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience and remembrance.
Every believer is called to live a life that honors God through holiness, love, and service, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
As a Southern Baptist church, we are committed to standing on biblical truth and carrying out the Great Commission—making disciples of all nations for the glory of God.
